Interesting timing of the Bannon matter but typical Dem tactics. This week a lot of big news is supposedly due to come out courtesy of Devin Nunes House Intelligence committee I believe. Dem Deflection.

He did not plea the 5th in the house hearings, he just didn't answer to their satisfaction. He plans to be interviewed by Mueller uninhibited unless the White House takes some action.
The White House directed him not to answer any questions.

Don't you find it a bit strange that he is totally ignoring what is being handed to him on a silver platter? Hillary and the DNC paid millions to get Russian disinformation and, most damaging of all, that unverified info was used by the Obama administration to get a FISA warrant to spy on an elected President and his transition team. Bigger than Watergate, folks.

You can't just refuse to answer a question once subpoenaed. You have to say why-wether the fifth, or executive privilege! This is clear contempt of congress.
Maybe I'm wrong but I think Bannon still feels loyalty to Trump. But he would throw Jared and Donny Jr under the bus in a heartbeat because they didn't like him and wanted him gone.
After almost 12 hours of questioning, the house intelligence committee has recessed. Subpoena remains in effect, and Bannon may be recalled. Rumors are that Bannon refused to answer questions even under the subpoena. Its being said that after being handed the subpoena his lawyer contacted the white house, and doubled down on refusing to talk about even the transition time period.
If true this is a sudden and dramatic escalation. Apparently the white house was more then willing to be open and honest....until actual questions were asked.

I think he's still got a Trump crush. The White House told him not to answer questions today--how are they going to make sure he stays shut up? Going to offer him some deal? Money? Promising to take him back, kisses and hugs? He still wants to be in charge of Trump as a puppeteer. and he'd love to get back in Trump's good graces.
