I think some of you guys purposely take literally what was clearly meant figuratively. If that is not what is going on, then you guys are the ones with half a brain. The people at those rallies are smarter than that.

Yes, that is what he said, and yes, his "crowd" thought he meant it.

Everyone with half a brain knew he was lying. Mexico is not, and will not pay for it. They gave Trump the finger.

The 600 miles which was authorized was already built by Bush and Obama, and if that was all that we needed, we would not be talking about any new walls.

The people at those rallies were thinking figuratively?

Is this sarcasm?

Were they also "thinking" that his big talk about bringing back coal jobs was a metaphor?

No let me help you.

Mexico is not paying for the wall as your President promised, when you ask for money in the budget that throws that whole promise right out the window. This is not that hard to understand.

I don't think you realized the unmistakably obvious nature of the irony of what you've posted here.

Kelly says there are places the wall “would not be realistic” and existing fencing “would suffice”.

Then Trump says “The Wall is the Wall, it has never changed or evolved”. And then goes on to say parts will be “see through” and that “is was never intended to be built in areas where there is natural protection”.

So it is gone from a 2,200 mile wall to part fence, part transparent (plexi glass?), non existent in some places.

As far as Mexico paying for it.

Trump initially says he wants out of NAFTA. Then he wants a better NAFTA, then NAFTA will pay for the wall.

All of this is so typical of an administration that has no clue and when reality smacks them in the face they side track and back step, change positions and generally lie that they had any other plans to begin with or that they were just misunderstood or others were lying.

Trump: Mexico paying for the Wall!

Kelly: The President is uninformed and Mexico is not paying for the wall in any way.

Trump: The wall is the wall and Mexico is paying for it, dammit!

Kelly: Listen dumbass, they're NOT paying for the wall. SHEESH!

Trump: You're fired!

This is Trump nation attempt to justify the BS they bought regarding the wall. Mexico is never going to pay for a wall but the gullible keep twisting themselves in to a pretzel to make it true.

Republicans stripped most of the employer penalties from his amnesty bill and here we are.

All this yammering about the wall is just to appease and distract the gullible.

That's the point! To make illegals try and enter thru areas that are much more difficult and dangerous so fewer will try. There are natural barriers there and the Border Patrol can focus more man power there. Again, jobs aren't the only thing that brings illegal aliens here. All of the incentives would have to be removed such as birthright citizenship for their kids and benefits and I don't see that happening any time soon. Criminals and terrorists aren't looking for any of the above, thus the wall. I don't know how many times I have to repeat all this before the same old nonsense keeps being posted by the anti-wall people.

As for e-verify, Trump has it in his 2018 budget and in the past it's been the Democrats who blocked it. Would be nice if you anti-wall people would inform yourselves rather than keep repeating the same old liberal talking points over and over and over.
