Actually, it already has worked.

1) Dems have prioritized foreign law-violators over US Citizens and LEGAL immigrants. Confirmed as a VERY unpopular position by both the CNN and Harvard Polls.

2) #SchumerShutdown keeps trending higher.

FACT: tRump is the prez, even though he didn't want to be. He's never been accountable to anyone in his entire adult life and responsibility rests heavy on a president.

FACT: the Pubs own DC lock, stock, and barrel.

FACT: the Pub congress has completely laid down and embraced tRumpism.

FACT: the "party of personal responsibility" is squirming like a bucket full of nightcrawlers trying to avoid being held accountable for their very own actions.

FACT: Trumplings voted for their ignorant slob because they wanted him to "shake up the establishment."

So, boys and girls, stop bellyaching about getting what you voted for.

Enjoy the "winning."

Fact: You don’t know how government works or you would know that the GOP doesn’t have 60 seats in the senate and the relevance of that.

Despite the propaganda campaign pushed by the Republicans and the Russians, Americans are well aware that Republicans ran the table the last election, and that they are anti-government.

Trying to pin this shutdown on Democrats just isn't going to work.

At best, it will look like Democrats tricked Trump and the Republicans.
LOL. You're fighting an uphill battle, Democrats will lose on alliteration alone... Schumer Shutdown sings!

Traitor Trump may carry the day, though.

Why the surprise?

Why attempt to blame it on others?
Absolutely. Trump wanted this. He made the gov’t shutdown happen for his base—the boot-lickers they are.

Boy, it’s so much Horse dong in this post that I don’t know where to start. $200,000 a yr? Behind s desk? You couldn’t do my job as an engineer if you tried. My job protects my fellow citizens from natural disasters.

BS. It hasn't even been 12 hours.

Let's revisit this in a few days.

I think the hope was to show that all of the Republicans were on board and it was the Democrats who held it up. But that failed when they couldn't even get their entire caucus to vote for it. If even their own members don't like it why would they think the other party's would?

Too bad the president tanked the bipartisan deal they drew up--the one he initially agreed to support, and the one that would have easily passed without a problem with well over 60 votes.

That would mean they need to negotiate with the Dems. Not throw a take it or leave it CR on the table without Dem. input.

Not have 5 Rep. vote against it when you need 60 votes.

The POTUS wanted this shut down.
