The new message of Dems is to talk down money. Will it work ? Will, let them eat crumbs work ?

That appears to be the new message of Dems. Crumbs from the crumb cake.

Yet we were told the Average American didn't have $ 1000 is savings for an emergency.

The Dems must value something and we all know money isn't everything. Why do the elites accumulate so much of what they don't value or want the average American to have ?
It doesn't make sense.

It fits in with the hate America message and looks like they are expanding that message to hate money too. Money is only a tool and there is no reason to hate it or love it. Its a necessary tool. A tool that most people manipulate everyday. IMO they are treating the American people like a tool. They want to manipulate us into believing what they have isn't worth much but they aren't giving up their wealth. Kind of a weird message when you think about it !!! What I have isn't good for you. You don't need it.

Pelosi, Wasserman Schultz rip $1,000 tax reform bonuses, 'crumb'

survey of 1,000 adults carried out earlier this year by personal finance site Bankrate.com. 62% of Americans have no emergency savings for things such as a $1,000 emergency room visit or a $500 car repair.

An additional $1,000.00 would not have much impact for me. However, I would be remiss if I did not recognize that the said monies would be highly helpful and welcomed by many American families.

Granted, higher wages/salaries would be ideal. However, ignoring the current positive situation is simply asinine.

The dismissal of $1,000 shows how out of touch the liberal elite are with ordinary blue collar Americans.

I hear you. $10,000 wouldn't be a life changing amount of money for me or many others that post here.

When I read that 62% didn't have an extra $ 1,000 bucks for emergency's I was surprised. I have always, sense a teenager, carried a cushion and had to rely on it. I always made what ever sacrifice was necessary to replace it before any unnecessary expenses. I assumed that was part of being an adult.
