That's a bunch of BS. There is no way any succession scenario could get Hillary into office. She doesn't even hold any elected office now, how could she possibly end up as speaker of the house?

if you followed the link in the article to the original essay you would see that it is constitutional....... just absurdly unlikely.
here was the scenario from the essay:
a couple of highly unlikely things would have to happen ( biggest of which would be ryan selecting clinton as VP then resigning ) but....... in that scenario clinton would become POTUS.
now we can debate what would happen if a frog had wings.

You may be surprised to learn, that the Speaker of the House of Representatives, does not have to be a member of congress. Whoever the majority in the House votes to be speaker, regardless of political office that person might or might not hold, can assume the job, as long as they meet the basic requirements.
Another possibility is that if election fraud is proven and a lawsuit in federal court resulted in the 2016 election being voided, then a new election might be held. Or if possible, the votes could be recounted with the fraud factor removed and a different result might be reached.
We need to let Trump finish showing all Americans, and the whole world what an ego-maniacal wingnut he truly is.
We need to let him continue to drag the rest of his "base" so far out on a limb with him that they will be forever blemished by being associated with this repulsive human being.
We need to let him complete the total deconstruction of the Republican Party, which has shown itself to be totally lacking in any moral courage, evidenced by their unwillingness to represent our American values by standing up to this wanna-be dictator.
At this point, Trump is the very best thing that could ever happen for the Democratic party. They could bring virtually anyone to the elections in 2018 and 2020 and win.

It's not correct. The idiot law professor omitted the fact that a vice-president cannot be appointed without being confirmed by a majority vote of both the House of Representatives and the Senate.
