VERY few things require 60 votes. This is not one of them.
Are you saying they can pass it on reconciliation with 51 votes ? IDK

I heard talk of 60 votes being required.

Trump said he wanted the gov't to shut down. Such a flip flopper.

And yeah good luck blaming this on the Democrats. Republicans are the ones in power. Could easily pass CHIP by itself as it has bipartisan support.

Reconciliation only takes 50 votes and then the VP. They don't have 50 votes which is the problem because republicans have defected.

You idiots just blew a cool 2T bucks over 10 years in December and you can't even pay the minimum due on what was spent in January.

I'm sure another 50b for the war pig will set everything right. I think I heard it fart, it's probably due for another meal.

No, you need 60 to overcome a filibuster. No one has caused a filibuster to occur.

Dems are all about resist. They are killing their party. It is not about Americans. It is all about being political and it will do them in.

People are sick and tired with the obstructionists. Dems never learn.

The Republicans are acting like the Democrats are obstructionists when in actuality the Republicans first reaction when they don’t get what they want is to shut the government down. Do it please. Then lets see how they spin their way out of this one....
