Seems like all that litigious bullying might come back to bite him in the arse, BIGLY. If DWT prevails with the subpoena, Kellyanne needs to put a pair of Depends on Trump stat. Davis Wright Tremaine, representing Buzzfeed in a defamation lawsuit brought by Cohen, has directed Stormy Daniels’ attorney to preserve all records relating to the NDA. Apparently, Cohen sued Buzzfeed for an article it published a while back in which Cohen was characterized as having an alleged role in facilitating Russian interference. In defending Buzzfeed, DWT is asking Stormy to preserve all documents. Why? Maybe they plan to subpoena the NDA and other records relating to Cohen. If granted, the subpoena might just free the gag order on the NDA.
This is a twist that no one saw coming. And, if DWT does subpoena these docs, and prevail, Trump might just lose it on national TV. Forget twitter.
I see it mentions Cohen traveling to Prague to meet with Russians. Since Cohen has no other clients (he is on the payroll) the implication is that Cohen either did this on his own personal behalf (what would he need hackers for?), or on behalf of Mr Trump.
Interesting that the Trump Organization did not bring this defamation lawsuit, Cohen himself did. Will he seek reimbursement from his boss?
