The left doesn't care that Hillary deleted 33k emails, or that she lied under oath, or that the FBI was illegally spying on thousands of Americans or that they "lost" 5 months worth of evidence against two FBI agents trying to stage a coup d'etat, but lock Trump up for having an affair!
You don't read well, do you? This suit is about whether trump broke campaign finance laws. Obviously he had multiple affairs. The most famous was probably when he brought his girlfriend Marla Maples on a ski trip while he was still married. Guess he had Ivana and the kids in one location and Marla in another. Classy guy.

The what-about-Clinton's-emails is like your 16 y/o son showing up at 3 am, falling down drunk, with a middle-aged woman wearing only her panties, then whining about how his brother didn't take out the garbage last week.
Hush money to hide a criminal act (prostitution). I dont know, is that against their rules?
No evidence it was criminal. You don't know (nor will anyone) that there was payment specifically for sexual services unless one of the parties make an admission. It may simply be considered an Escort service, they're perfectly legal. Prostitution itself is perfectly legal in several counties of Nevada too, if this happened there it's no crime.
The report I read made no such claims. Only that Trump paid her $130k for non-disclosure. This is now claimed to be an unrecorded campaign finance contribution by Trump, but the same argument could be made of say him buying a car, is a campaign contribution to gain votes from the car dealership, or picking up some milk from the local store. Is that really what campaign contributions are meant to be?
There's a lot of unsubstantiated claims there to convict for criminal offenses.

I completely agree with all of this. Besides making Donald Trump look bad on a personal and character level, there is no way to tie this alleged payoff into misuse of campaign funds.

Again, I think the best illustration of what this means to Trump is to look at how the John Edwards thing played out in 2008. The similarities are stark.
While Edwards jury came back with an 8-4 guilty verdict (not enough to convict) it also forced Edwards to disclose where the funding to keep Rielle Hunter under the radar during the election came from. Using either personal funds or campaign funds to hide a side-piece is not something an elected official wants to defend in a legal case. The FEC is very good at working the forensics on this sort of thing and also have a good deal of power to acquire the information they seek. Even Edwards considerable skills as a lawyer proved not to be much of a match against an FEC investigation. It strikes me a bit like Al Capone's case where the IRS was able to do what the FBI couldn't.
If folks can get past the titillating headlines, I honestly believe this may well end up being a significant problem for Trump. Classic "Follow the money". I'd also be surprised if Bobby Three-Sticks isn't having a look at this as well.
