When a man is single he can have any relationship he wants. He can lavish gifts on some, or pay them outright for services rendered. If it is a mutual understanding it's his business to pursue.
But these affairs were during his marriage to Melania (now the First Lady) while she was taking care of a baby at home.
So the Donald is not only lecherous, leering at young women in their dressing rooms and bragging about grabbing women by the crotch ... he is a philandering sleaze ball with no respect for even his own marriage and no evidence of a moral compass.
No empathy, no conscience and no morals. He's just an avaricious hedonist.
Yep. And he has the full support of those oh-so-holier-than-thou evangelists and phony Christians.
Morals and conscience and decency are for everyone else.
In spite of everything, Trump doesn't direct his ire at the Russians. As far as I know Trump has never criticized or condemned their interfering activity, and refuses to this day to impose the sanctions voted nearly overwhelmingly by congress. Instead he devotes a tremendous amount of energy tearing down the institutions of our sovereign republic.
Trump is our Yanukovych. Trump is our Quisling.
Note that I only mentioned possible reasons for tRump's kowtowing to Putin.
His clear obstruction of justice is more than enough to get him tossed.
It is unlikely Melania signed a prenup where she gets nothing. Even if she did, it is unlikely such a prenup would stand up in court.
However, she's probably gets a lot more as a widow than as a divorcee. I suspect that's what she's waiting on.
Trump is a heart attack waiting to happen. Despite the assurances of his physicians about his tremendous state of health, he's so out of shape he had to take a golf cart rather than walk short distance with other world leaders. Plus, he's under a fair amount of stress.
Plus, there is his whole fear of poisoning thing, which I used to think was paranoia but lately have begun to think he may be on to something. If Putin determines he is no longer an asset, all bets are off.
In any case, if I was Trump, I wouldn't eat anything Melania fixed until things settle down.

I don't think she's sticking around until death do them part, just until Trump is out of the White House, whenever and however that happens. After that, she'll get a giant payoff and go on her way.

Barron is 11 years old. Moving in the middle of the year would not have been that big a deal. There may have been some negotiations going on.
In that lawsuit over the UK newspaper and the paid escort business, Melania made it clear that she intended to cash on being FLOTUS.
Has she started any business enterprises that would take advantage of her visibility?
It's crystal clear that Putin has tRump in his pocket.
The only question that remains is why?
What's he holding over tRump that has him whimpering like a puppy whenever the subject of Russia comes up?
Could be any one or more of the following:
1) tRump really did conspire with the Russian election meddling.
2) Because of all his bankruptcies, he was forced to get money from the Russian mob and owes them big time. (I think it's this one)
3) Those sexual encounters in the dossier are real.
Melania should pursue her own romantic interests while letting nature handle her husband. A coronary plaque rupture or a stroke will take care of her husband eventually. In the meantime, she can leverage her position to boost her business interests and broaden her social circle.
Looks like he expected to be reimbursed. How could he have made such an assumption if this was just a friendly 'gift' or 'favor' to his employer?
I wonder if it was reported for gift taxes.
