Excellent piece from the Hill:

I have no idea if Cohen was on the up-and-up or was playing fast and loose. I wouldn’t want my lawyer selling “insights” on me. But now we have gone from Trump-Russia collusion in the election to the Russians supposedly paying $130,000 after the election — a sum that President Trump definitely wasn’t in need of, and yet this has spun hours of cable commentary. And if this is all a paid donor strategy to discredit Trump, it is backfiring. The more Avenatti, Daniels and Cohen blot out the Democratic message and the president is seen as making peace with North Korea, the latest CNN polls show the Republicans are surging and several polls show Trump’s image rising as well.

The more you peel back the onion, the more Cohen and Avenatti seem alike — both fixers, bending every rule they can get away with. Fairly or unfairly, Cohen is being put under the microscope, and we can rest assured that every payment in or out will be fully scrutinized by law enforcement. But Avenatti can’t be given a pass on these issues. Americans are entitled to know just who this guy is, who is writing his checks and whether he legally obtained his information.

I would love to see how Avenatti is paid. He’s actually exposing more of the dirt under the nails than anyone.

And I tend to disagree- this dude is sucking a lot of Oxygen away from Trump.

All in the name of a porn star, lol.

i can see some similarities in the bullying style.

2 main differences: avenatti is very competent and doesn't seem to bluff.

Does that strike anyone besides me as unusual? Wouldn’t contact information normally be automatically saved to the cloud to be available on more than one device? It seems kind of risky not to do so because the cellphone could stop working, break or get lost or stolen.
The SDNY imaged his phones and his wife's from what I read
Didnt confiscate/remove
He is just using a new clean phone

It makes you wonder that if Trump only hires the best people, how come an over-the-hill Pornstar clearly has the superior attorney?

It's not like Attorneys have moral codes or anything. Oscar Goodman represented the mafia and became mayor of Las Vegas, so who you represent has no negative impact on your career...so it makes you wonder why the best Trump could hire was Cohen.

Oh my God.

"After receving $500,000.00 cash from a Russian oligarch, Michael Cohen hand-delivered a sealed letter to then National Security Advisor Michael Flynn, recommending the US lift Russian sanctions."

We're starting to get to the heart of this Russian stuff, folks.

What is it that Avenatti does that you all see as bullying?
