“As a survivor of sexual assault, this decision has really impacted me negatively,” one student said of the hiring move in a short clip of the Wednesday meeting. “It has affected my mental health knowing that an abuser will be part of our faculty.”

Probably not a coincidence that George Mason University also one of the biggest beneficiaries of the Koch brothers. There has been speculation that they want a local university to help promote their conservative agenda in the DC federal government sphere. Kavanaugh is just a another piece to this.

Whether or not one believes Blasey-Ford’s account is irrelevant. He was neither charged with nor convicted of a crime. For better or worse, he’s now a Supreme Court justice, and the university clearly considers having him teach to be worth the blowback.

hopefully the university will stand firm. some of these pinheaded students want the university to do their own investigation.

"Well, should we investigate that? I mean, should we investigate that," Letiecq said to Cabrera as snaps of approval rose out in the room. (Snapping has largely replaced clapping on college campuses as a way to show support.)

"He's been accused, and there has not been a full investigation as far as I'm...that I can see," she said.

Cabrera responds: "So, I mean, George Mason University...investigate a Supreme Court justice who has been confirmed by the United States Senate?"

"Yes," a woman calls out.

"We do our due diligence on all hires. This is a hire," a man added, drawing more snaps as someone else calls out "agreed!"

Come on, would you want to listen to this whiner speak ? What would he have to offer besides a few lessons in binge drinking and fondling women ? There, I said it, and we all know he got away with this because of a weak*** GOP.

I would actually love to be in his class and ask him some very pointed questions about his role in the Starr report. I don’t have to like or approve of somebody in order to learn from them.

GMU is there for those who couldn't go to first tier Virginia colleges. No surprise here.

Seriously, what did he “get away” with?

How can a person with *any* level of respect for our justice system make such glib statements? It’s very difficult to take such posts seriously at all.
