Some have no memory of the country of their birth and most are well assimilated. And most are fluent in English and quite American even though often bi-lingual. that actually makes them more valuable as employees.

Nope. Dems thought they had a compromise with the GOP and Trump just last week. Then Trump got swayed by the far right and Kelly. What happened to his "love" bill? And also, Trump did't want to talk about DACA until the Dems supported his $18 billion wall. Where is HIS ability to compromise.
5 Republicans voted against the bill. Republicans can't even get their own party to agree on bills.
By the way, if you are in desperate need of votes, you negotiate to get those votes. I thought Trump was a excellent negotiator at least that is what he claimed. I guess he lied about that too.

Nope. But they are not guilty of anything except a poor birth. They are of course deport-able but it will never happen. So the rational thing to do is legalize and assimilate the group. Deal with their citizenship down the road after the greatest part of the illegal population has been dealt with.
