Thousand bucks if you worked 20 years. Wonder how many people stay at the depot over 2?
A friend took a part time job there. Said it was the worst run place he had ever worked. He lasted 3 months. They didn't even know how to draw up a schedule. Employees didn't know from one day to the next when they were supposed to be at work.
Yep, up to $1000, and the thousand is if you've been there for 20 years.
I haven't seen anything about whether the amounts are also pro-rated based on whether you work full time or part time.
I didn't see large corporations giving out bonuses when Obama was President, why not?
Again bonuses are not a big deal IF these companies really care they will give them a decent enough raise to truly help them. Trump president not Obama. Did you not get the memo?
Home Depot joins a growing list of corporations using new tax benefits to invest in their workers.
I am a libertarian but thanks GOP for doing the right thing despite all the attacks from the left before it passed.
A few questions,
Did Home Depot corporation need more money to build more stores or hire more employees?
Or did Home Depot already have enough money to expand and hire employees before Trumps tax cuts?
And who will get the biggest pay raises from Home Depots lower tax rate, their CEO's or their workers?
And did Home Depots CEO's need pay raises?
Donald Trumps tax cuts for corporations that did not need them, and Trumps pay increases for CEO's who did not need it will do the following,
And if the goal was to increase worker wages wouldn't giving workers and middle class Americans tax cuts been better than lowering the corporate tax rate?
Trumps tax cuts raised workers after-tax income by 0.8%, raised middle class income by 1.5%, raised the richest 0.1% of Americans income by 14.2% and lowered the corporate tax rate from 35% to 21%. https://www.forbes.com/sites/janetno...nalysis-finds/
Is giving the richest Americans and large corporations tax cuts the best way to raise regular Americans income, or would giving regular Americans tax cuts be a better way?
I didn't see large corporations giving out bonuses when Obama was President, why not?
Because of Obamacare their taxes went up. What Obama and the left does not understand is when you punish American businesses and over tax them it effects the workers of those companies. You reward American businesses and often their workers are rewarded.
