I can't believe he wants to try to bring it back. I remember the XFL! It'll be quite interesting to see if the new edition is more successful. Society has changed a lot since then, so who knows.

Apparently he doesn't want Johnny Manziel types in his league.

How can you get the politics OUT of American football? I thought the whole point was to promote the "homosexual agenda"? I mean, why else would you have the GIANTS, the COWBOYS, the OILERS, and the RAMS? Why else would it be a game of big, sweaty men in tight plants jumping on one another while they play with balls...and then they all shower together?

Sorry, but any sport in which a man can begin his career as a "tight end" but finish it as a "wide receiver", and the whole point is to penetrate the other team's end zone, is obviously pushing a "gay agenda".

And not to mention the fact that the Super Bowl could, conceivably, consist of the Packers vs the Browns...

( I am not a homophobe, just saying, American Football is pretty homoerotic, objectively speaking)

So are you going to tell us what you meant in your original post or not?

How about teams delegated to a lower league if they lose like in the english premiere league . The cleveland browns shouldnt get the first pick year after year
Good idea. The browns might be the favorite to win a XFL Superbowl.

Only if that is how you look at the world. To most people its just football. With the decline of the NFL the XFL might actually stick this time.

Blah... people usually have their fill of Football by the time the super bowl is over... it leaves anticipation for August and something to look forward too. We don't need year-round football.

It is hard to start a league from scratch and I don't think the XFL will ever beat out the NFL.

However, I do think the NFL would like some sort of a "minor league farm system" like MLB has.
