One of the reasons Trump gave for why Mueller is biased is over golf fees that that were not refunded.
Seems that in 2011, Mueller cancelled his membership in Trump's Virginia golf course and sent a letter asking for a refund of the remaining fees, per the guidelines of the club.
Trump's golf course folks didn't refund the remainder of dues and that was that. No dispute. No other contact has been revealed.
Trump, well, Trump's employees, cheated Mueller out of those fees.
Which got Trump worrying that Mueller might have it in for him.
Good grief, imagine if everyone Trump cheated had it in for him?
Seriously, I don’t see what the big deal this is. I would be seriously shocked if Trump didn’t “try” to fire Muller.
Now what is “try”? He thought about it? He asked around? He ordered his people to do it?
I have no clue and I don’t care either.
Neither do you and neither should you because at end of the day, he didn’t fire Muller.
I agree, what is this 'try'? He thought about it before he ordered it. He didn't ask around, haven't you heard, The Don always knows best. There's no question about it, it's been confirmed, he ordered it be done.
Let it sink in. Trump ORDERED his WH attorneys to fire him. If it wasn't for McGahn's backbone, at the end of the day, Trump would have had his way. He claimed he was, 'fighting back' against a ligit investigation. We call this obstruction.
When someone attempts to murder someone and fails, do we let him walk because he only TRIED to?!? Jeez get a clue...
Whether Mr. Trump engaged in obstruction of justice is, of course, yet to be determined. But we already know the F.B.I. director James Comey said that Mr. Trump asked him to back off on the Russian election meddling inquiry, and in particular on investigating his national security adviser, Michael Flynn, and that Mr. Trump fired Mr. Comey when he refused to abide by these instructions. We have also seen reports that Mr. Trump directed Attorney General Jeff Sessions not to recuse himself from the Russia investigation, despite Mr. Sessions’s clear legal obligation to do so.
A President can tell his DOJ which potential violations of crime to investigate and prosecute and which ones to let go. It's called prosecutorial discretion. Obama did it many times. Good example is not prosecuting Hillary Clinton. Bush 1 did it when he pardoned Casper Weinberger, Elliot Abrams and 4 more in the Iran Contra.
Michael Flynn only lied to the FBI about a non-criminal matter......a President can tell the Director of the FBI, who works under the President to go easy and on him and not prosecute. Just like Obama and his DOJ did for Hillary Clinton.
Sessions didn't do anything illegal with his meetings with the ambassador as a U.S. Senator. The FBI said so. The President asking him to not recuse himself from the Russia investigation is not illegal or obstruction of justice. He is the Attorney General.

When that shoe drops, or is about to, Mr. Mueller’s job will again be at risk. It is critically important that Congress act now to pass legislation protecting the special counsel from being fired before his investigation and the ensuing prosecutions are concluded.
that is unconstitutional. The President has the constitutional authority to hire and fire anybody in the executive branch for whatever reason......He can fire Sessions. He had every right to fire Comey. He had every right to fire Sally Yates, the acting A.G. when Trump took office and the Democrats and the media went nuts.
NYT is full of B.S......they have a conflict of interest wanting to burn Trump and all of their coverage is bias.
