Uh huh, I am in the business of importing Hispanics ! No, I am just a realist. Like em or not, aliens, both legal and illegal have always been here and always will. You could build a 100 foot tall wall around the entire country and they would still come in. THAT is the REALITY.
Another reality is, a lot of our economy depends on aliens. Not all of them (as your side paints them all) are takers, many work hard and contribute to our farming and manufacturing economies. You say they take our jobs, but the REALITY is, you and I are too good and too lazy to do the work many of these folks are thrilled to do.
Where you see them as a detriment, I see them as people who are just wanting a better life and who are not afraid to work hard to get it.
Mexico isn't paying for the wall for the same reason my neighbor isn't paying to build me a swimming pool. You can't make promises for spending other people's money and if you believed Trump could make that happen you 'd better wipe those stars out of your eyes because he's not God, he can't deliver and knew it at the time he he promised they would. He's a liar, a salesman who poops on facts and truth.
Woof. That's one of the more outstanding displays of pretzel logic I've read in a awhile. So if I have this right - we should always assume that the things Trump says are lies. Or exaggerations, or in more vernacular terms, total BS. But at the same time, we are supposed to respect him because after all, he is the President, even though he has zero credibility. A check is one option mentioned in that link shared earlier.
His promise was that all GMO foods would be labeled.
That never happened.
There are foods that are voluntarily identifying as non-GMO. But that is market driven, not law.
What we eat should be labeled. He promised to do so. he did not.
