This is such an incredibly dumb take, I can’t believe you guys are still running with it. Maybe you were born during the Obama administration, but I remember the Democrats losing a lot of elections. Dems don’t call for investigations when they lose elections, they do this when there's credible evidence of criminality. Somehow, you guys everyone who sees wrongdoing is a liar or a crook and needs to be shut down.

This infatuation with Russia is amusing. The left sure sang a different tune when it was the Soviet Union. I heard Bernie really enjoyed his honeymoon in the good old USSR.

This is so much bigger than Russia. It’s literally about an attempt to destroy the credibility of the press and the intelligence community; the two bodies that do real investigative work. The only “facts” are those that come from the White House, GOP or conservative press.

The intelligence community has been shown to be corrupt and complicit. And, as for the press, we all know what the so called 'mainstream' media does.

Oh, I thought this was about Obama and his trying to rule the US with Executive Orders, so I don't have a comment since I haven't seen any such thing in the current administration.

People that don't understand our government should google for "Youtube Schoolhouse Rock Government" and get an education, they make it very easy to understand.

Because he is fraud.. has been for decades.

But, uniformed Americans seeing him on "The Apprentice", believed him to be a great leader.

It also helped he really did not like Obamas race.

Do they want a world where anyone attempting to hold the POTUS accountable is branded a liar and conspirator? That’s literally what happens in dictatorships.
First of all, you seem to think president Trump is under investigation, so you are getting off on the wrong foot, right from the start.

We have had this Russia-Collusion investigation going on for close to two years now, and it has not produced even one person who conspired with Russians, or violated any laws in speaking with Russians.

The only reason we even have this Mueller instigation going on, is because people like you don't like Trump, and you believe that he and his associates are crooked and capable of some sort of traitorous conspiracy, involving the Russians.

Are you old enough to remember the Ken Star investigations into Clinton? If you want to see where people impugned the integrity of a special prosecutor, that is where you will find everything you outlined here.

No, we see President Trump as the person making tax reform, immigration reform, infrastructure and American renewal happen.

We are not satisfied with the 'new normal' of Obama.

No. You see, the entire mainstream, American media apparatus and intelligence community are fraudulent! Isn’t that far more likely?

This article is in The Hill today detailing the Whitehouse cooperation with Special Counsel.

Mueller keeps Russia cards close to the vest |The Hill - 1/26/18

The president’s lawyers are circulating a memo, obtained by The Hill, detailing the ways in which the administration has complied with the special counsel investigation – a document that strongly implies that the White House believes it’s time to bring the investigation to a close.

“The most transparent response in history by a president to [special counsel] inquiries,” John Dowd, an attorney for Trump, told The Hill in an email.

Dowd’s memo says that the White House made more than 20 staffers available for interviews, including eight people from the general counsel’s office. In addition, 17 campaign aides and 11 outside advisers have given voluntary interviews, according to the document.

The White House says it has handed over 20,000 pages of documents to the special counsel, including more than 1,600 pertaining to Flynn and 1,200 regarding Comey. The campaign handed over orders of magnitude more documents — 1.4 million pages, according to president’s legal team.

The President has stated he will do an interview with Mueller.
48 staffers, aids & advisors have given interviews with the Special Counsel.
The White House has turned over more than 29,000 pages of documents to the Special Counsel.
The Trump Campaign has turned over more than 1.4 Million pages to the Special Counsel.

Are you aware that the FBI caught George Papadopolous lies BECAUSE Trump Jr turned over his emails to the Special Counsel and that's where they caught the Lie???

Does all of that sound like unaccountability or the actions of a Dictator? If it does to you, then you have no concept of either accountability OR how a Dictator operates.

As to the FBI and DOJ ...... there are now Senate & House investigations into their actions. The Special Counsel has revealed and removed some of the officers from both the FBI & DOJ that were originally in the Special Counsel. The DOJ Inspector General has been doing an Investigation into the FBI and released damning notices of wrong doing -- the DOJ IG investigation began BEFORE President Trump was sworn into office. The DOJ has also opened it's own Investigation into the FBI ...... this is all serious stuff - it's particularly serious when Leftist Media chooses to ignore it and Leftist Democrats want to squash it.

Suppose what many are now suspecting is completely true -- that the FBI, or parts of it, exonerated Hillary Clinton and her cohorts with a mock investigation, attempted to swing our presidential election against Donald Trump and then continued to undermine the new administration after they had won with illegitimate claims of Russian collusion orchestrated by sleazy political lowlifes?

It's tantamount to an internal coup d'état that is still ongoing. And just as in many coups throughout history, many of the participants are convinced they are doing the right thing, that they are on the side of justice, even though they are bending it, especially because they are bending it. The ends justify the means, as the old homicidal slogan goes.

So many issues are at play here it's mind-boggling. How do we deal with the dishonesty of our officials and bureaucrats when those same people are the keepers of our secrets and the enforcers of our laws (both of which are related)? When is transparency necessary? When is secrecy justified? Who will watch the watchers? Are the congressional oversight committees enough? Do they have sufficient power?

At this point ..... it all has to play out and it ALL has to become Transparent.
American Citizens have the right to know exactly what has been going on. I don't care who is guilty of misconduct OR worse -- I want to know. I don't want a single bit of it hidden - we deserve to know.

We have zero evidence of anyone stopping the Special Counsel
We have a lot of statements/video tape by Democrats attempting to stop Transparency on the FBI/DOJ Investigations. So who is really being "unaccountable"? We deserve to KNOW everything.
