Out of all the Presidential candidates, you voted for the only candidate who is pretty much the polar opposite of Jesus' teachings. Yet you claim to be Christian. Bizarre. He's also basically the only non-religious candidate. Hillary, all the major Republican candidates, were people of faith, attended church, etc. Trump was always atheist/agnostic until it came time to sucker the deplorables.
Also, what does "his sins are the same as my sins" mean? You would vote for Hitler, and think his sins are the same as yours? There is nothing in the Bible that remotely claims that all sins are equal, or that sinners should be forgiven if they refuse to repent.

I don't think he was suckering anybody. Trump was awkward when discussing matters of faith. Then again, he never really tried to hide who he was.

It's their own personal "get out of jail free" card. They can claim that it's wrong to "cast the first stone" against one of the members of their tribe, they can also claim they are persecuted for their own beliefs, and the kicker is they can discriminate against Muslims and gays.
