The central mission of the Dept. of Justice is to investigate and prosecute without passion or partiality. Anything less could easily turn into third-world-style influence-peddling and brute-force savagery.

The latest texts from FBI agents Strzok and Page indicate that such third-world influence was indeed at work in their investigation of Hillary, and that they were responding to it.

The FBI agents seem more worried about offending a possible future President with a penchant for screaming fits, revenge, and lamp-throwing, than in telling the truth about her.

New texts show 'fix was in' for Clinton email probe, GOP lawmakers say | Fox News

In the newly released texts from Senate Judiciary Committee Chairman Chuck Grassley, R-Iowa, Page warned Strzok that Clinton “might be our next president,” in a Feb. 25, 2016 exchange.

“The last thing you need [is] going in there loaded for bear,” Page continued. “You think she’s going to remember or care that it was more [DOJ] than [FBI]?”

Right but wouldn't the people pushing the investigation in the first place have been heavily politicized AGAINST HIllary? These are just some people who are involved who fear her. You don't think Trump has that same effect on people?

So your contention is that there are no impartial investigators in the Fed govt? Any facts to back up your allegation?

When someone points to clear evidence of Hillary cowing an investigation, you immediately scream "Republicans do it too!!!" with no evidence?

The current president demanded promises of loyalty, attempted to fire the person investigating him until everyone freaked out too much, and asks who the new guys voted for. Has Nunes run to him with information on confidential investigations, and thats just the president. Do we need to start talking about everything else?

Currently he insults everyone who doesn't do exactly what he wants, accuses judges of being Mexican and biased, etc etc.

I mean come on, you post here enough...do you just filter out anything you dont like?

Yeah the FBI is known for being full of liberals.

I'm tired of the GOP selectively releasing texts. I've seen a bunch that were anti-bernie, anti-hillary, anti-chelsea. If you're gonna release them, put them all out there.

I can understand their concerns, Hillary is know for laughing about the murder of a foreign leader she helped overthrow, and for getting a child rapist off.

Hillary is a dangerous sociopath, I would be afraid of her repercussion for investigating her.

There ya go. A voice of reason. Anyone can take a text and put it together with another text and create a story. Lets blow it out of proportion and spin it into a wild conspiracy theory about an internal coup. The rubes will eat it up and spread it like wild fire. Never mind that there are 35,000 people who work in the FBI and every one of them should be pro Trump lest they be too biased. Well unless it's not in his favor.

Mueller was hired in May? I think it was around the middle of May. The FBI agent was removed sometime in the summer. So we have an early investigation with an affair between an FBI agent and an attorney who left the investigation before Strzok did. That means that Page was only involved with the investigation for a few weeks. What was her role? Does anybody know? What was Strzok's role in the investigation? Opinions between lovers is one thing, but facts are facts.

So we have two people that left early on in the investigation who had varied opinions about more then just Trump. Does that blow up the whole investigation? Um hardly. We don't even know what their roles were in the investigation. I guess it's easier to just drink the kool aide , have a lobotomy, and wallow in conspiracy theories and rhetoric then do some research and pursue the facts. That's just embarrassing.

Spreading lies about a premiere world class agency and the tens of thousands of dedicated professionals in the FBI for partisan gain is despicable.

They need to screen out any agent that has a political opinion, that is unacceptable.

Nobody's going after the rank and file FBI or DOJ. This justifiable inquiry is about a select group of higher echelon officials.

According to Comey, he wasn't investigating Trump. Or do you think he was lying under oath when he said that?
