Why are the NFL ratings going down? I`d say it`s more about Netflix, Hulu, Amazon Prime, YouTube, etc.

Rooting for the Eagles. Sick of Brady and company.

My team is out of the running (Steelers) but I am going to be watching anyway. Looking forward to seeing New England lose (hopefully ).

Anyone who thinks bars, restaurants, and home tv sets will not be jammed with people that day is delusional. The Super Bowl is just as popular as ever, regardless of what has been going on.

I have a simple strategy. I don't watch any of the 5 hour pre game show, or the introduction of the players, or the national anthem. I tune in right about the time they set the ball on the tee, in preparation for the first touchback of the game (I mean, the opening kickoff).

Problem solved.

I think ALL protesters are kind of silly. However, it is their right to protest. I don't agree with them, but it is their right.

Boycotting super bowl? No, I don't think it is necessary.

I like NY giants, that is about it.

This is a tempest in a teapot to distract people from what really matters.

These football players aren't upset with vets or current members of our armed services. Not at all. They're upset with the treatment of black people in our society... many of whom are, themselves, current or former members of the US Armed Forces.
NFL viewership is DOWN for the playoffs by about 18%.

That is a LOT of money lost

I guess EVERYBODY does NOT agree with you.

"They're upset with the treatment of black people in our society.."

Another FAKE myth put on us by the Lame Stream Media.

If they are treated so badly, how do they manage to make 10s of millions of dollar a year?

Or are you talking about the un-educated urban dwellers living on gov't handouts and drug dealers who when stopped by the police go bonkers and do NOT obey the commands giving to them.
