Don't you guys understand that if everyone pays into the healthcare system, it lowers the cost for all of us and we get better coverage. And please don't tell me how the young don't need it because they are healthy. But what if they get cancer or hit by car or shot in the Las Vegas shooting. You just never know what's going to happen to you at any given moment.

Again my issue is forcing Americans to buy health insurance. The government should not be involved. If the ACA is destroyed by people not paying into the system then it was a bad system in the first place. Maybe then the Democrats will come to the table and actually seriously try and fix it. I doubt it!
I never supported the Mandate, but gov't has to be involved in many ways and at many levels with HC. Otherwise the poor, seniors, those with pre-exisiting and many emergencies will not be cared for. America is first world.

You fail to educate us on 2 + 2 = 4 because, somehow, every other civilized country in the world covers ALL of their population including pre-existing....for 30-40% less money than we spend.
Oh, and they live longer also and have as good stats (infant mortality) - some better.

In other words, you are living a lie inside your mind. It is one thing and one thing alone - the corporate profit motive - that makes our health care Hell on Earth. Of course, the rich want that money instead of using it for sick people.
But there would be an extra TRILLION per year if we had a decent system and everyone would be covered.

Lie. It has given millions of people access to health insurance who never had it before. And they still have health insurance right now...though the GOP and Trump are trying mightily to take it away from them, and have been since the start.
Because they don't give a damn about Americans and their healthcare. That much is obvious, as they continue to try to kill the ACA off but offer absolutely NOTHING to replace it.

You sound like you would be more happy in a socialist hellhole country.
I bought insurance in the open market before my plan was canceled(not ACA compliant or some crap even though I was happy with it) and I was forced to buy a much more expensive plan on the exchange logic be darned.
