Utterly useless? Then why on our border where the good walls have already been erected have they been very effective?

The repubs should run ads with all the dems claiming "But, if it saves just ONE child, it is worth it" when THEY want some useless ill passed over and over and over.
Give them a little taste of their own medicine!

If you are interested in saving lives then put the $20B into healthcare rather than the wall. The wall will be approved in some form in the compromise, I just see it as a ineffective at addressing illegal immigration.

What in the heck is an "alt-white". Are you saying everyone in the State who is white is racist?

If not, what are you saying?

So did Obama and Hillary.

Easy, repubs have the majority in both the House Senate and White House.

Just like Kerry, "I was for it before I was against it"!

Democrats always had a problem with Martin Luther King's ideology . Instead of looking at the character of people.. they divide us into colors.

Trump is trying to keep out the bad people because of their character. The drug smugglers, the welfare freebee crowd who come here to get what they can free, and the ones who want to kill us. To the democrats it is racist only... if Trump dares to keep out the bad people , it is all racist and the color comes out .. Dems only see colors, not character of the bad people who come here. MS 13 is the example.
Manchin is one who has a level head . I noticed him long ago.

It is also safe to assume that anyone against e-verify is also against the wall.

So using e-verify as a bargaining chip for the wall just doesn’t work. Agreed.

If you want to use e-verify as a bargaining chip, it would have to be used against DACA. “No DACA unless e-verify” is much more effective than “no wall unless e-verify”.
No Daca unless we also:

- get E verify.
- End Chain Migration (except spouse and child - no siblings or parents)
- End Lottery.
- Evict & Eject ALL immigrants (legal, dreamers or illegal who took any Federal Welfare money - SNAP, Section 8, Medicare/Medicaid, Social Security unless they paid in for the past 20 years or SS Disability. Stop the payments immediately and Evict and Eject. Stop the 150 - 200 Billion Dollar per year madness.

You have never owned a boat, have you?

Health care is NOT in the Constitution.

Immigration IS.
