Yes people would adapt and systems would adapt. But I do think it is more complicated than just worrying if you have to remember to reset your clocks.

My Dad was a teacher and he often talked about kids at the bus stop in the dark - but in the dead of winter - they still are in the dark. School starts EARLY here.
I mean, I can live with winter darkness - I've done for it a lifetime but I really HATE leaving work at 4:30 and it's already dark out.
