Good for those Sheriff's! Sanctuary cities/counties...liberals love those let's see if its ONLY for illegal aliens or if they believe in that for whatever a county wants to make a sanctuary for.
I hate cops but I'm 100% in support of these sheriffs, because the people who will be enforcing red flag laws are armed cops. Maybe they'll think twice about violating someone's property rights if their boss tells them no.
The right of the people to keep and bear arms is being challenged once again but under the disguise
of protecting the well being of our citizens from harming themselves?

Im not sure about all that!! I read law enforcement was very much against taking away the licensing requirement for carry conceal, they felt it would just be too dangerous, It was comical to hear them trying to explain it so it would sound good to the public, they tried to say they took it very seriously protecting citizens rights, but when it came to carrying concealed weapons, common sense must prevail, so I guess they are not really into protecting our rights that much after all!!!
Colorado House Majority Leader Alec Garnett, one of the legislation's four sponsors, said he wasn't concerned about sheriffs being locked up.
"What I'm going to lose sleep over is, if that's the choice that they make, and someone loses their life, someone in crisis goes on a shooting spree, (or) someone commits suicide" because a gun wasn't taken away, he said.
Sheriffs can ignore enforcing Red Flag laws if that's their choosing, but they cannot ignore the fallout from such decisions by the public who elected them.

Liberals don't enforce laws they don't like --- illegal immigration for one -- so why should the sheriffs enforce this law?
Law Enforcement is just that, Law Enforcement. If you don't want to enforce the law, choose a different career.
