As for your plan to allow them to stay if they've worked here illegally, I'm all for it. AFTER they pay back every penny of tax money they stole from us, or served their prison time for stealing an SS #.

Deal?
well, sure. Make that happen. That is a deal.

No DACA

No deals regarding daca

Stage another protest for them, arrest and deport.

Should not even be a bargaining chip.

And returning with their parents is hardly punishment, right? I mean, all we've heard these last few weeks is how those countries aren't actual s#@#holes. So returning to those countries can't be considered punishment.

It's not about punishing anyone it's about not rewarding these DACA's parents for bringing their kids here illegally. No one should benefit from their parent's law breaking. It's sets a precedence that all you have to do is sneak your kids across the border and they'll be home free.

What if that money was better spent on technology to monitor the border 24/7 instead? We have satellites that can see the whole border vs a partial wall that will drive people farther into the desert to get around or will go to the other many vulnerable places to circumvent the wall. There are also 48 places to legally cross the border from Mexico into the U.S. This is where we are more vulnerable. People enter with visa's and never leave. Do we spend that money on a wall or do we hire more people to crack down on that abuse. It will catch more people from all countries vs a few thousand stopped by a wall. People who smuggler illegals over the border in boats to cross the Rio Grand will still profit if there is a wall, so will those that smuggle people in by the truck load. Hire more people to check each and every truck entering.

I'm in favor of border security, but lets address the whole issue, and work smarter while doing so.

You have no way of knowing what your claiming as true. A wall "stops" the Illegals from crossing at that moment and exposes them at that attempt for much longer than no fence or wall and just an electronic device that tells you no more than that we have now more Illegals in the US. It does nothing to deter or stop anything. Just shows you what "has" happened, which we already know is happening. A Satellite also just tells you what "Has" happened and does nothing else. Who cares what one farmer claims when an entire Nation is at risk. The wildlife impact is BS and dreamed up by Liberals Snowflakes, since your wall has a very narrow footprint in the square footage of the entire area it will occupy. Trumps plan is sound and makes sense, since it not just a "wall" plan but a plan that also uses electronic devises and other state of the art detection to cover those "vulnerable" areas.

Because they are Illegal Aliens, regardless of what Obama named them. You can call a Bank Robber an Angel, but he is still a criminal that broke the law. What part of "Illegal" don't you understand? Didn't they teach you that word in school, or didn't you pay attention?

Do you think any type of attempt by the U.S. to assert sovereignty is acceptable? Or are all types of such attempts racist?

I value law and order. It helps keep our society safe.
