When President Trump asked why the U.S. should accept immigrants from third-world nations he allegedly characterized as "s-holes," liberals (and some neo-conservatives) howled with outrage, branding the president a bigot and a racist.
But...was Mr. Trump right? Perhaps far more than his opponents would like to admit. Don't take my word for it – take the word of the liberal, globalist United Nations, which celebrated its annual "World Toilet Day" and named its "Toilet Heroes" last November 19.
Here are a few interesting statistics, straight from the U.N.:
- Around 60% of the global population – 4.5 billion people – have either no toilet at home or one that doesn't safely manage excreta.
-862 million people worldwide still practice open defecation.
- 1.8 billion people use an unimproved source of drinking water with no protection against contamination from [feces].
- Globally, 80% of the wastewater generated by society flows back into the ecosystem without being treated or reused.
A flying toilet is a facetious name for a plastic bag that is used as a simple collection device for human feces when there is a lack of proper toilets (people are forced to practice open defecation). The filled and tied plastic bags are then discarded into ditches, on the roadside, or simply thrown as far away as possible.

One fellow I know in his travels to other third world countries said it is common to see public defecating. I believe Trump is more than right. NYTIMES ran a story on Brazil that the waters were filled with gross material during the Olympics.
Actually he was right, but it's in dispute as to whether he used those exact words. That was Dick Durban who said that, who apparently wasn't even in the meeting ...someone told him he said that. But Durban is a known liar.
Someone on another thread pointed out that $13 billion was collected worldwide for Haiti. I believe it, people poured their hearts out. I don't understand why they didn't built a sewage system, something is horribly wrong.
What's with the crossing the border remark? The discussion isn't about illegal aliens and they have no right to a better life by breaking laws and taking from others what doesn't belong to them. Illegal aliens pay $13 billion in taxes opposed to the $100 billion they cost us every year.
In Search Of The Red Cross' $500 Million In Haiti Relief
When a devastating earthquake leveled Haiti in 2010, millions of people donated to the American Red Cross. The charity raised almost half a billion dollars. It was one of its most successful fundraising efforts ever.
The American Red Cross vowed to help Haitians rebuild, but after five years the Red Cross' legacy in Haiti is not new roads, or schools, or hundreds of new homes. It's difficult to know where all the money went.
The Red Cross says it has provided homes to more than 130,000 people, but the number of permanent homes the charity has built is six.
Ask a lot of Haitians — even the country's former prime minister — and they will tell you they don't have any idea.
