So the argument is that if you want to help the poor, use your own money. Someone uses their own money to help the poor and people are still pissy over it?

The supply of bad ideas is endless. But I can't for the life of me understand why, when a bad idea fails, they try another one instead of going back to the way things were before the bad idea was tried.
