If you're not Native American, you don't get to say that people shouldn't be offended by the Cleveland Indians or any other sports team that depicts Native Americans.

I'd be leery of doing business with them though based on this development. To me, it shows a complete disregard/disrespect to the overwhelming core of their patrons.

You'd be leery of going to a baseball game because they changed their logo? Okay. I hate to break this to you but franchises (not just sports) change their logos all the time. It's hardly showing a complete disregard to their patrons.
