(no wonder the Democrats hate wikileaks with a passion)

Well she drafted the memo from its inception but I literally laughed out loud at Assange suggestion. I do wonder if she'll try to burn up every copy of the memo.

Yep. Lots of ways to manipulate things before handing it over if they had that intention.

No, its not irrelevant to the investigation. Why do you think that when the FBI (or any other law enforcement agency) is conducting an investigation, they physically confiscate the computers from the place described in the warrant, and carry them away? Why wouldn't they just make a copy and let the target keep their computer? LOL.

And it was CrowdStrike that did the forensic investigation not the government. The FBI never got that server image.

It depends what kind of image it was. If it was a logical image only, then you're correct. It if was a bit-level copy of the physical image then it would. I haven't seen any details on what they handed over to Crowdstrike.

Isn't Assange still a criminal on the lam?

Because thats how they maintain the chain of evidence. They dont actually need anything other then the drive image for the VAST majority of investigations. But maintaining the chain of evidence makes seizing the computer the logical way to do so.

Maybe Assange should quit messaging fake Hannity Twitter accounts promising him dirt.
