I remember during the Obama years posting more than once that if a Republican gets elected, they will call for "a new civility" because they could never take the way they treated Obama for eight years. Guess what, Democrats are only too happy to treat Trump supporters the same way. For them to cry offended now is laughable.
Possibly it was; but the 'Birthers' were called lunatics. They were only a fraction and they did not represent the whole Party.
