Some can only hope. We will know, soon.

The dossier was NEVER, NEVER, NEVER presented to the FISA court as evidence.

1) The “dossier” compiled by Christopher Steele (Steele dossier) on behalf of the Democratic National Committee (DNC) and the Hillary Clinton campaign formed an essential part of the Carter Page FISA application.

Furthermore, Deputy Director McCabe testified before the Committee in December 2017 that no surveillance warrant would have been sought from the FISC without the Steele dossier information.

The Court would have thrown it out.

Not if they didn't know where it came from:

a) Neither the initial application in October 2016, nor any of the renewals, disclose or reference the role of the DNC, Clinton campaign, or any party/campaign in funding Steele’s efforts, even though the political origins of the Steele dossier were then known to senior and FBI officials.

What WAS presented was evidence - independently gathered FAR BEFORE the dossier ever came to light - and subsequent to that - that Carter Page was possibly a Russian agent.

2) The Carter Page FISA application also cited extensively a September 23, 2016, Yahoo News article by Michael Isikoff, which focuses on Page’s July 2016 trip to Moscow. This article does not corroborate the Steele dossier because it is derived from information leaked by Steele himself to Yahoo News. The Page FISA application incorrectly assesses that Steele did not directly provide information to Yahoo News. Steele has admitted in British court filings that he met with Yahoo News -- and several other outlets – in September 2016 at the direction of Fusion GPS. Perkins Coie was aware of Steele’s initial media contacts because they hosted at least one meeting in Washington DC. in 2016 with Steele and Fusion GPS where this matter was discussed."

No wonder the country is in the mess it's in. People can't read - much less walk and chew gum at the same time.

No lies, none whatsoever - but evidence gathered by the FBI over years - because of Page's questionable contacts with the Russians.

The dossier did NOT begin the investigation. It, however, CONFIRMED, much of what the FBI ALREADY KNEW.
The role of the dossier is key to everything that followed because of it's the only reason, according to Andrew McCabe, that FISA warrants were ever issued.

The crooked Obama Administration, Hillary Clinton, and the Anti-American Democrat party deserved to be smeared with the truth. That is why they don't like the Truth.

Exactly my thoughts as well.

I've said this before, but Trump's responses to the investigation are so reminiscent of Dick Nixon's during the Watergate investigation.

Assuming Nixon didn't know about the break in before it happened, I never understood why he didn't fully support getting to the bottom of who did it AFTER he found out about it. Instead, he did everything he could think of to protect those involved, impede the special prosecutor, and discredit the FBI and DOJ. And, ultimately, that spelled his doom (even though it looked for a while like it might save him) because too many people had too many doubts about what the truth was.

People thought: if he didn't know about the break in, why did he try to cover it up after he found out about it?

Assuming President Trump also was unaware of any wrong doing before it happened (and I'm still willing to give him the benefit of the doubt), it's unfortunate that he didn't learn from Dick Nixon and handle all this a different way. He's been his own worst enemy in many ways.

They're both highly-curated, selected, opinion pieces.

The only people who really know what is going on have access to all of the information.

And that is not anyone on C-D.

Obama knew because the DOJ Loretta Lynch knew. They are all dirty. The IRS was just the tip of the ice berg.. Obama used the IRS to hinder the Republican Party groups that supported the Republican Candidate. Obama is dirty , dirty , dirty .

Obama will no doubt be regarded as the worst President in American history. He even makes GW Bush look good.
