The big theory is that you release stuff on Friday so by Monday it is forgotten.

If it is released today is that the take away?

How's the weather in St. Petersburg, Markovski?

No, the other St. Petersburg.

The Good 'Ol Putin party are using a page right out of the Russia playbook. Instill mistrust of government so no one believes facts, while trying to get the citizens of our country to believe everything is a conspiracy. This is how Putin stays in power in Russia, and now the traitorous GOP are trying to do the same thing in this country. Lying traitorous weasels indeed.

Democrats are panicking as they see their screams that the memo not be released to the public, get ignored. All their hysterical excuses and lies about it have failed so far. It is becoming increasingly clear that there is something very significant in the memo, and in the reports it was written from, about their actions of the last year or two, that they don't want the American people to know about.

So now they are demanding that the head of the committee, Devin Nunes, be fired.

As the OP describes, the Democrats are desperate, and are pulling out all the stops.

What's next, Demmies? Another Reichstag fire? "Gee, what a shame, all copies of the memo have been accidentally destroyed, and we are sure it was Republicans who did it."

Trump to declassify surveillance memo, sources say

President Trump is expected to swiftly declassify a controversial memo on purported surveillance abuses, sources tell Fox News, even as Democrats raise objections that edits were made to the document since it was approved for release by a key committee.

Those objections fueled a new round of partisan recriminations on Thursday, with House Democratic Leader Nancy Pelosi firing off a letter to Speaker Paul Ryan demanding the chairman of that committee, Republican Devin Nunes, be removed.

That’s an odd theory.

It's only damaging to them because they are guilty of abuse and they don't want us to know about it. It's a shame you refuse to see that and want it kept hidden so they can continue. I digress though, if this was against Obama you'd be screaming for it to be released.

Democrat hysteria is reaching a fever pitch as they manufacture attacks based on new "information" they have made up, about "secret changes" to the memo that Congress voted to release.

Desperate to prevent the people from seeing what's in the memo, the Democrats are now howling that proper procedure was not followed. But no one outside their small circle of frantic liberals has fond any substantive changes in it. Minor grammatical corrections, literally dotting a few i's and crossing a few t's, is all.

But that doesn't matter to the Democrats. They are trying frantically to spread as many rumors, accusations, etc. as possible, with no attempt to back any of it up or cite any facts or named witnesses, in hopes that someone might believe them somewhere.

When will their insane circus stop? What is in the memo that they are trying so hard to keep secret from the American people?

Anything that any agency/committee/task force does that might end up embarrassing someone gets "classified" so the public never gets to see it.

The President can declassify anything he wants whenever he wants for whatever reason he wants. Most don't dare, because they have "someday you'll be a citizen again, and we'll make you rich if you play ball" concerns, but Trump has shown a pretty good resistance to that particular method of coercion, which means this memo, despite a bunch of posturing and threats, will be released to the public.
