Why do we do we continue to allow deaths with blunt instruments to occur at all, anywhere?

Etc., etc., etc.!

Why do we allow people to exercise their right to "free speech" under the Constitution when they advocate the denial of others rights "to keep and bear arms" which is ALSO under the CONSTITUTION.

Think about this LONG and HARD.

Let's APPLY EVERY SINGLE GUN LAW TO THE 1ST AMENDMENT THAT IS IMPOSED ON THE 2ND AMENDMENT.

What say you about THAT?
200 dollar tax stamp on all forms of electronic communication devices.
Get caught with the materials 10 years in the pen for possession of prohibited devices. 100k dollar fine.

Any phrases that may be deemed insulting disparaging protest or incriminating banned unless you are the government or one of its agents. Otherwise. 10 years in the pen with a 100k dollar fine for constructing a sentence that is banned. Unless. You were able to purchase the rights to that language after an extensive background check 9 month to year and a half wait, and can't go across state lines. Without permission. Your finger prints are submitted to the registry, your passport photos are to be resubmitted to the registry every 2 years.
Local law enforcement will be notified of what phrases words protest signs you own.

If you are a grammar teacher you may only construct said phrases to be taught to the government and it's agents, local law enforcement, and the military.
You must pay a 1500 dollar tax to ITAR and the SOT tax to the BATFEG.
(Bureau of Alcohol Tobacco Firearms Explosives Grammar)
Said grammar teacher is subject to on site inspections during business hours and may not hinder nor resist in any fashion, nor doctor up records and everything must be accounted for. Inventory, documentation, records of sales.

I say do it.
Better yet. Apply it to the 4th 5th and 8th and abortion as well.

Freedom of the press-printing press. Unless you want a Short Barreled Device to consume media then its 9 months to a year and a half and a 200 dollar tax. The volume will be excessively loud so all can hear, unless you seek to get a suppressor device which will be an additional 200 dollar tax an additional 9 month to year and a half wait.

Televisions under 16 inches 200 dollar tax with serial numbers recorded, your pass port photo ID and finger prints.
Tablets and cell phones with a foregrip are considered any other device, shall be a tax stamp and such.
Any device that can relay information with more than one function of the remote or mouse or touch screen are banned from production all current devices must be registered and approved for transfer.

Then wait for what California NY MA CT will do...

That's what anti gun crowd doesn't see...
They're short sighted. They only see "firearms" and their subjective opinion in how to abolish them.

What they don't see, is its a Constitutional right no different than the 1st 3rd 4th 5th 6th 7th 8th and so on.
Say they do get their way. I'm draining my bank account for retribution and I'm going to fight to censor free speech, regulate abortion and every other right they enjoy and chip away first from a right, to a privilege, to a privilege of only the elite and wealthy and government it's agents and the military can partake in.

Want to mess with the constitution? Okay. 2 can play that game. Careful what precedents you set... you will set the stage for us to open the entire constitution to subjective interpretation...

If this is the case, the morgues should be overflowing with bodies of people who regularly visit gun stores and gun ranges, what with all of the guns under one roof. Our guns laws are based upon the premise that guns cause people to commit homicide, and that homicide is directly correlated with the abundance of firearms. In practice, however, it seems the opposite is true.

Mass shootings do not occur at places with a high abundance of firearms sometimes or rarely, they never occur at places rife with guns. Mass shootings almost always occur at gun-free zones. Therefore it is reasonable to conclude that not only do guns not cause mass shootings, but they in fact prevent them. If you were a homicidal maniac intent on killing as many people as possible, would you perpetrate a mass shooting at a place where you would be met with armed resistance and swiftly neutralized such as a gun store, or would you go to a government school where not only are would-be victims disarmed, but in the event of an armed intruder are forcibly imprisoned in a lockdown such that they can be swiftly and strategically slaughtered? Gun-free zones may as well put up a sign "Mass shooters welcome" since gun-free zones facilitate mass murder.
Nevada doesn't have a liberal gun laws? Colorado doesn't have liberal gun laws? Florida doesn't have liberal gun laws? Texas doesn't have liberal gun laws? South Carolina doesn't have liberal gun laws? Virginia doesn't have liberal gun laws? These are all states with recent mass shootings. What on earth are you going on about?

Yet the shooting occurred in designated gun free zones, so how would even more laws do anything except to disarm the law abiding.

There are enough blood baths now, when both sides are loaded, talk about the carnage.

Yeah, so let's just have the criminals armed right?

It has far less to do with the proximity to guns, and more to do with the element of surprise. You can't overcome having someone get the drop on you.

Really? You can't overcome that? If that's how you train you might as well stay home. Train to win.

In fact, now I think on it, I don't think any have ever happened at sailboat races either!

Hot dog eating contests?

Zoos?

Broom factories?

And I've never heard of one happening anyplace that serves brussel sprouts ...

There has to be a thread connecting these realities ...

Luby's served brussel sprouts. It was also a gun free zone. 24 dead. Some with brussel sprouts still on their plates.

Shooting rampage at Killeen Luby's left 24 dead - Houston Chronicle

They basically only occur in places with lots of guns. They occur in the U.S., which is drowning in guns. They don't occur in countries with reasonable gun controls.
