A couple of trolls from 4chan make a couple of twitter posts (on purpose, mind you... not even because they actually cared) and the racialist media predictably has a fit, blowing up a couple of trolls into some "opportunity to talk about diversity"... a conversation nobody really wants or needs because - THERE NEVER WAS ANY REAL BACKLASH! Literally nobody cared.
The trolls do it for laughs and to expose the fragility of your racialist policies. And to make fun of the #staywoke clowns. And they succeeded. Because like moths to a flame there's nothing racial huxters can't resist more than talking about "the struggle".... real or imaginary.
I sort of get the idea behind doing this but I don't. I mean, if you delibrately lie in an attempt to make people believe something, and they believe it, what are you proving other than you are a good liar? It's not like they gave any hints it was a lie.
If I walk into a high school and scream "Oh my God he has a gun! Run!"... most likely everyone will run, because school shootings are a real thing. They are not fools for believing me even if I though I did it as a joke. If you say "I'm racist so I'm asking other racists to do XYZ"... and people beleive you (because there are actually racist people who do dumb stuff out there all the time), I mean what have you proved really? Racists have ganged up and harrassed people online with regularity, and dumb Nazi crap is experiencing a resurgence, so of course if you say something like that people will believe you. Duh.
But I mean, dumb trolls are gonna dumb troll, so there's that I guess.

Someone running in to a school with guns can actually kill people. Someone getting butthurt on Twitter over black people in a movie isn't hurting anyone, but he does create an uproar that he can sit back and watch with some popcorn for entertainment.
The most interesting part of all this is that so many people don't seem to understand that a guy ranting on Twitter about black stormtroopers or superheroes really isn't hurting anyone.

This is what I've been thinking too. Literally, nobody cares about the cast of the Black Panther being mostly black except for the SJW crowd. I don't even think people have a problem with the movie and those who've seen it said it's good.
They're trying to compare it to the Star Wars Last Jedi backlash...but...TLJ really did suck. It's getting to a point when a major movie studio puts out a movie that gets terrible reviews, it's automatically "the alt-right". If you remember last spring, Amy Schumer did the same thing too. It's getting old.
I'm black and I don't care about the cast of this movie. It's a movie. We've had blacks represented in movies for decades so why would I feel like this movie represents me? It's a really confusing message these SJW's are putting out these days.
Disney movies are horrible. The parents are always abusive or dead, someone always gets killed, the parents if alive are always stupid idiots at the 12 yr child has to educate, the boys -- if there are boy characters -- are mean and stupid and weak, the girls are brilliant and strong all while wearing skimpy, formfitting clothes that strippers would wear.
I'll see it for myself eventually. Until then, I have no reason not to believe them or that they would give false opinions for fear of backlash.
As far as critics having to kiss ass for black movies or be labeled racists, Taraji P Henson's "Proud Mary" (which was much more of a Blaxploitation or "black pride" movie than Black Panther was) came out a few weeks ago and critics tore it to bits.
Good point, I have no doubt that this is a quality Marvel movie. Marvel has taken great care and attention to detail in developing the MCU piece by piece. Black Panther is an important Marvel character who crossed paths many times in the comics with characters like Fantastic Four and Amazing Spider man so they spent years making sure they hit all the right notes with this one.
There is a great amount of hopeless and negative gang and drug culture in many black communities especially in the South. If a movie like this can aspire kids to achieve more even through a fictional character then we should support it.
It will be a great lead in to the next Avengers movies.

Eh. Tell that to all the people who get mad when someone doesn't like thier favorite politician or singer. LOL. This country has people getting mad about this or that all the time. It's not some special "SJW" phenomenon. Besides, by that logic, the outrage is also harmless because its just people getting mad on the internet. It's not like anyone is actually physically hurting anyone over it.
All I'm saying is lying to people in order to trick them into beliving something that will make them mad doesn't prove anything other than you know how to lie. I could say something ridiculous and get RWNJs mad too. It's not like it's hard. There will be twitter threats and a thousand thinkpieces in no time. So what?
It's a stupid game.
