And that's the problem with having a secret court within the government.
We never get to "see it". And government officials lie about it.

Clapper told Congress they were not spying on American citizens.
Snowden proved him wrong.

And instead of getting our government back on the right track all attention turned to Snowden calling him a traitor. Clapper never got in trouble and spying continued and got more abused as we can see.

FISA was enacted so that our government could track foreign spies on US soil.

But behind closed doors it was used for way more than that and by both parties because the Bush administration got caught using it against American citizens.

All they have to do is go to this secret court and say "foreign agent", give them a Yahoo news story and voila..anyone can be wiretapped without a warrant.

One oddity: Senator Nunes admitted that he had not, himself, read the actual FISA applications justifying the four warrants. He said that he sent Mr. Gowdy to do so, and relied upon what Gowdy reported.

Nunes: I did not read material summarized in the memo | TheHill

No doubt a coincidence, but Mr. Gowdy then announced he is not running for re-election this fall.

Kind of like Barry's birth certificate, one democrat in Hawaii says it's real and we're suppose to take it as gospel.

Go back to law school..

McCabe says differently in his sworn testimony.
They tried 3 times prior and were denied. They used the dossier to convince Carter Page was an agent for Russia and that was a lie and the FBI(Comey, McCabe, and Rosenstien) knew it was scetchy but went with it. They used perjury to get a FISA on an American Citizen, under the false flag he was a Russian agent.
They could not prove that 3 times prior, without the Dossier.

Page was the legal illusion they needed to branch that out to collect over 30,000 Americans communications....

This makes WATERGATE look like a speeding ticket.

Rosenstein threatened Gowdy to read all of his emails and text messages if he doesn't stop asking questions.

Isn't that kind of like writing a book report from half a set of Cliff's Notes?

FISA used to violate the 4th Amendment of Americans. Not foreigners.
Page just opened the door.

https://www.washingtontimes.com/news...rth-amendment/

It branched out to include over 30,000 Americans when it was all said and done.
Susan Rice caught red-handed with the spreadsheets of the entire Trump campaign and even after he was elected. Up to inauguration day and then some.

McCabe's testimony is classified and no one knows yet what he said. It's only been reported by "sources." Some sources say that what is being pushed on right-wing sites about his testimony is not true. No one knows, and you most certainly do not know.

Honestly, I do not know how the board moderators here allow you to continue to have account. You post so much fake news and conspiracy theories as truth that it's just ridiculous.

Here is a simple test to say to the spin. If you believe the memo is a nothing burger than you are saying that Trump can do the exact same thing. Not just Trump, but ANY law enforcement official. If that is the way you want to play it... I look forward to the United States without a 4th Amendment. Remember law enforcement is not on the liberals side.

Very true! In fact, many of those Americans who work hard, come home and sit down to the evening news are not getting the full picture at all. If they are watching the so called 'mainstream' media stutter through these revelations, they are getting a skewed picture of events with a heavy dose of liberalism mixed in.
