No they have not lost my trust ! I trust them to be just as sneaky, underhanded, lying, devious and crooked as always. The one good trait that dems have is that they know how to campaign! Someday, the Republicans are going to wake up and figure out how to copy them and maybe finally beat them at their own game.

Dems lost 1,100 seats net, DC and statewide, in the last decade.

GOP gained 1,100.

And I do not believe one of the posters claiming to be Democrat, but....or I was a Democrat... but saw the light. They ring very very hollow.

This place is full of loony bin GOP shills and mouth-breathing trailer park idiots. These types of threads will continue, and they seem to be welcome.

Actually as a young man, until I understood the danger, I was a Democrat who volunteered in a few local campaigns.

I saw the light, and am now, proudly, a long-term registered Republican.

Neither party can be trusted. They don't care about us. They care about keeping their lobbyists happy and the money machine flowing. Party over country.

I will likely vote Dem across the board in 2018 and 2020, though viable Independent candidates could attract me if I feel my vote could elect them, as opposed to throwing the election to a GOP.

Because of trump and the lack of spine of GOP elected officials, I will NEVER vote GOP again. I have voted for several GOP in the past, for President and several Senators.
Well said.
