Correct. He is also called the "Commander-in-Chief." Trump supporters want to have their cake and eat it too. They credit Trump for everything good that happens in the US while Trump is in office, whether or not Trump is responsible. But when he once again proves how incompetent, incapable, and clueless he is to hold the office of POTUS by one of his innumerable idiotic tweets/comments/speeches, they give him a pass, saying he's not responsible for "running the government."
I keep reading comments from the left like "Trump doesn't know how to run the country". Do they actually think this is the responsibility of the president? Are they so uninformed that they're not even familiar with the three branches of government and which one the president is in charge of?
You know, all those deluded Trump supporters imagined that Trump would be so perfect to "run the country" because they wrongly imagine him to have been a successful businessman. I think you're accusing the wrong side. Leftists think he's ruining the country, not running it.
