I keep reading comments from the left like "Trump doesn't know how to run the country". Do they actually think this is the responsibility of the president? Are they so uninformed that they're not even familiar with the three branches of government and which one the president is in charge of?

I would keep this on the low down....one reason why I don't think Dems do well in the mid-terms is that Dems think the President is like a temporary Emperor.

Well, during his acceptance speech at the RNC convention, Mr. Trump did say that "I alone can fix" the country, which certainly sounds like he thought it was the job of the Presidency to 'run the country'.
"I have joined the political arena so that the powerful can no longer beat up on people that cannot defend themselves. Nobody knows the system better than me, which is why I alone can fix it."

So your saying that Trump shouldn't be given credit for those things he's trying to take credit for?
Or only the good things he should take credit for and not the bad?
