As of today, the Senate has passed a 2-year Budget Agreement (not just a CR). But Nancy Pelosi is still blocking things in the House, threatening to shut down the government yet again.
President Trump, seeing that Democrats are trying to scare him into caving like Republicans of old used to, simply called their bluff, indicating he wasn't scared at all: "Sure, I'd love to see a shutdown."
Ball's in your court, Demmies. The Republicans have offered you more than you ever hoped to gain. Will you still keep trying to RESIST all compromises, reject all offers, except those which 100% conform to your wants alone?
You've got about 7 hours left, before your next govt shutdown begins. How did that work out for you last time?
Actually Nancy (who I dislike) is doing nothing of the sort.
Rand Paul, in the Senate right now, is causing a delay in the vote there by trying to add amendment.
Republicans can pass this bill in the House on a simple majority; Paul Ryan thinks he has the vote. Yet, the Freedom Caucus is now making noise. So if the Repubs can't get their own party on board, it's all on them. Every Democrat could vote NO and if Republicans agree, they have a winner. This ain't on Nancy.
You know you're a liberal fanatic when 100% of your party votes No on a bill, 5% of the other party votes No, and you try to blame the other party for defeating the bill.

Well when the Boss says, like, 3 or 4 times he wants something...most employees aim to please.
Trump on live TV said , 3 or 4 times, speaking directly to those around the table that he would love a shutdown...then..
The three-week Continuing Resolution that Democrats caved in on and passed a few weeks ago, expires on Thursday, Feb. 8. Like four days from now.
Will the Dems try their govt-shutdown tactic again? Or have they learned from the whipping they took the last time?
Any chance the Democrats will actually start cooperating for the good of the nation for a change? And help pass an actual budget, so we can finally get off these silly CRs?

WASHINGTON — Start your government shutdown clock again.
With another fiscal deadline looming, Republican leaders said Thursday the House and Senate would vote on a fifth short-term spending bill next week to keep the government open past Feb. 8, when current federal funding runs out.
“We’re still negotiating the contents and the duration of that,” House Speaker Paul Ryan, R-Wis., told reporters in West Virginia where House and Senate Republicans were holding their annual retreat.
But the plan for another stop-gap bill quickly ran into resistance from hardline House conservatives, as well as House Democrats, so it’s not clear Ryan has the votes to pass such a measure.
House Democrats leave Feb. 7 for their annual retreat, adding pressure to pass legislation early.

So, my question is~~~~ How can any reputable Politician suggest ( including DJT) BLAME Lib's for holding up the VOTES?
IF Senate passes it.. Delaying House votes only intensify the pressure on House GOP'ers!
I repeat constantly.. Between Politicians and Lawyers.. ( no difference) .. Don't trsut whatever they say.. WATCH what they do... Talk is cheap ( unless that talk affects outcomes) Actions speak Louder than WORDS!!!
Deficit will explode ... Congrats to GOP for escalating it !! Guess it ONLY counts when opposition has some level of controls
