Oil and energy exports.

The US will be nothing but a country to provide raw materials for growing economies.

This one is also likely to be a doozy (worse than 2008) because the federal government doesn't have the ammunition to respond to it. Rates are still too low and spending is too high. During expansionary periods, its important to prepare for the next downturn and we have not done that.

One thing is certain; if we go into recession that will end Trump's chances of a second term.
I don't know but, I'D bet we WON'T run to our "safe" places with our crayons and that we WON'T need therapist to "comfort" us!

We WON'T riot, cry and wail out in public screaming "It is the end of the world", etc. like dems did.

Anything else?

“Most folks”? How about very few folks.

You seem fairly oblivious to the fact that a year long investigation into a sitting president is about to wholly backfire in what will shape up to be the largest political scandal in US history.

I recommend less CNN. Instead, read the primary sources on both sides and analyze the cases for both. The case against Trump is primarily founded on invented oppo research, which was fed to them by foreign agents, and which was taken as factual.

The liberal press is running interference, but it isn't enough to neutralize the facts of the case. People involved with pushing this investigation are going to go to jail. That's a fact.

You also seem to feel that Trump supporters need something to "cling" to, as if its a desperate grab of a branch in a swift river. That isn't true. The support is rooted in deep political pillars that won't become un-moored. Any other characterization is delusional liberal semantics.

So, no, economic turmoil is not decisive. Though, what I also know is that Hillary could be found to have been having an affair with Vladimir Putin and her base would not blink. What that means is that even if high level biased law enforcement are found to be guilty of a politically motivated investigation, it won't sway the politics of this country much.

Do you know what that fact implies? It implies that there is a deep and irreconcilable rift in this nation that is headed for a horrific end. The rift began to be nurtured by the American media about seven decades ago, and the same media continues the same divisive mission today. It won't stop until this nation breaks apart. That much I know.

Liberals are terrified that we will recover from the economic shutdown before the election.

Nah. The lemmings will vote for him again.

As for who to blame for the recession that’s easy: everybody but Trump. More than likely, he’ll blame Obama.

They will not allow that to happen. The shutdowns and the panic need to continue until capitalism is in ruins. They do this then in their minds they will win the election and as Newsom said, “usher in a new era of progressivism”. This is about the leftist agenda, the media driven panic, the shutdowns and the soviet tactics to keep us locked in our homes......all of this is to user in the “new era of progressivism”. (AKA socialism) We have become a nation of sheep, led by fear, fear whipped up by enemy plotters who possess the power of the media.
