If Trump has his "parade" next up will be the aviator glasses, military cap and uniform and a bunch of medals pinned to his chest before he dissolves Congress. The Trumpers will finally have their wish of a military state with one media.

The French have a long tradition of military participation in Bastille Day parades. France was also the site of many, many battles during both World Wars, and her armed forces fought valiantly for freedom. No one is trying to tell the French how to celebrate their national day, nor do they tell us how to celebrate ours.
This is solely about Trump's jealousy and envy, not his patriotism or wish to honor our armed forces.
The United States of American is not France, nor were either World War fought on American soil. While our armed forces also have a history of courage in action, we have never been a militaristic society and our people have traditionally focused on the future while continuing to honor what's honorable about our past.
To have a big hunkin' military parade here, now, for no other reason than to boost Trump's already immense ego, should be unthinkable, and he should be advised of its inadvisability. Perhaps he has been...
I see, henceforth, The COMMANDER IN CHIEF of the greatest military on earth will absolutely not be allowed to hold a parade to show Americans that he wants to honor them...because hateful bitter liberals dont want him to because it might make him look good...got it.
