Yes, he certainly was, and a previous comment in this thread concerning Manafort's involvement with Ukrainian politics is completely wrong. He has always served pro-Russian interests and individuals. He certainly did nothing to help combat Russia's attack on Ukraine and theft of Crimea.

Manafort did no such thing, and Russia does not "hate" Manafort, when he was working for Russian interests.

Why do you post such nonsensical falsehoods, when the reverse is true and widely known?

Oh, I dunno, Saltinska, the plot seems to be getting more and more interesting.

And thicker and thicker, just like the heads of some Oval Office folks I could name.

Manafort's oligarch employer and the deputy PM from the Kremlin would be worried that Nuland was onto them only if there was there there.

With all the working women aboard the yacht at the time why would they be discussing a "nothing burger"?

I am about to break my post Christmas diet and search for chocolate. Sorry popcorn crowd.

The host of the video in post #3 in this thread is a famous Russian dissident/activist. His main objective isn't to dig dirt about American politics, but to expose what he terms (probably correctly) corruption in Russian politics. The whole Manafort angle for him, isn't about the American election, or much of anything about America at all, but about connections between Russian businessmen and Russian politicians... and in particular, Russia's long and tawdry history of selective prosecution. For some, bribery or any venture into immorality is termination of their career (or worse); for others, anything goes. His secondary point, is that Russian corruption is so outrageous, that even American security/law-enforcement has started to take notice.

This is all 100% true.

The fact that the two were discussing Victoria Nuland is only a side note to his agenda about corruption in Russia. However, to us, the video is very interesting specifically because Obama's official is the subject of discussion.

She is obviously tossing a monkey wrench into their scheme.

I expect in the morning the troops around Trump will regroup with explanations.

To me, this certainly seems like a smoking gun.

#1 Manafort promised something to his billionaire friend. He was in direct communication.

#2 Manafort was campaign manager for Trump and mysteriously willing to offer his services for free.

#3 Victoria Nuland was State Department official under Obama specifically charged with duty of Russia.

#4 Nuland said she was aware Russia was meddling in election.

#5 Manafort's oligarch is captured on video with a Deputy PM of Kremlin worried that Nuland is onto them.

Rebuttal?

I’m guessing “fake news” and also a comment about Manafort being the equivalent of a coffee boy

Manafort's own daughter said he was a crook. It takes a lot for blood to say that. While I will not convict him without a trial my personal needle is leaning guilty.
