It's almost humorous to listen to Democrats screaming on and on about the growing deficits in President Trump's tax plan.

Especially when they are the ones demanding that government provide more and more free or "low-cost" medical care, welfare, food stamps, subsidized housing etc. to more and more people in the U.S.

Want lower deficits? Stop electing big-govt liberals (in both parties) into government. Then our deal-maker President won't have to yield so much to the big-govt wing and spend so much money on things government isn't even authorized to do.

You have no proof of that. That's your feeling -- your opinion.
And if you pay a little more attention you realize that folks aremore likely to be calling out the hypocritical policies of the conservatives that have moaned about the deficit for 10 years and then seem to turn their back on it now.

But you have to put your blinders away bit to see that.

At least the temporary add to the deficit is for citizens, not illegals and foreign countries. If we are on the hook for it in the long run, barring that people spending more doesn't erase that deficit, at least we are getting some benefit out of it.

I think the noise is over the obvious hypocrisy and for those like myself, it being wasted on useless wars.

I know a woman who is a ranting, raving, red-faced Trump supporter who practically spits nails when she complains about "welfare queens" and Democrats' "tax and spend" approach. She also froths at the mouth when she talks about "government healthcare" and whatnot.

She's also a stay-at-home-mom whose husband is on active duty in the US military. She and her family all get their healthcare heavily subsidized by the US taxpayer. Their housing is heavily subsidized by the US taxpayer. They get all sorts of perks and discounts due to hubby's military service. Plus, 100% of their income comes from the US taxpayer. Hubby got to go to college for free and she got an advanced degree (online, of course) for practically nothing.

She's the biggest "welfare queen" we all know. She's an idiot.

Rand Paul said it well. "When the Democrats are in power, Republicans appear to be the conservative party," Paul said at one point. "But when Republicans are in power, it seems there is no conservative party. The hypocrisy hangs in the air and chokes anyone with a sense of decency or intellectual honesty."

Cost of medical care skyrocketing is due in large part to outright fraud of the entire US population due to some large pharma companies being controlled and run like hedge funds. Could reign that in without requiring a big ask of the public coffers.

I love spending. Not complaining about it. The Defense boon will ultimately be good for me personally. I am complaining though about why the GOP were such a$$es when Obama tried to spend. Hypocritical jerks is what they are. They certainly don't put their country first.
