The U.S. government has traced some of the $1.7 billion released to Iran by the Obama administration to Iranian-backed terrorists in the two years since the cash was transferred.
According to knowledgeable sources, Iran has used the funds to pay its main proxy, the Lebanon-based terrorist group Hezbollah, along with the Quds Force, Iran’s main foreign intelligence and covert action arm and element of the Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps.

“The enormous financial windfall the Iranian regime received because of the deal — access to more than $100 billion, including $1.8 billion in cash — has not been used to better the lives of the Iranian people,” Mr. Trump said Jan. 12. “Instead, it has served as a slush fund for weapons, terror, and oppression, and to further line the pockets of corrupt regime leaders.”

Surely Obama knew how Iran would spend the money.
Let's say your nextdoor neighbor takes your wallet that has $500 bucks. Then he gives it back to you. Are you allowed to spend your $500 as you see fit?
Obama returned Iran's money. The only reason Iran did not insist on getting it back is because the US is a big bully with big weapons. The big bully can push around certain sovereign countries.
Keep in mind Iran was responsible for the most fatal terrorist attack against the U.S. pre 9-11.
That money should have been for the damages.
So the owe money for that totaling 2.1 billion. Confirmed by our supreme court.
On top of another 7billion in damages cause by aiding al-qaeda
So A country that has backed rebels against another country used some of their own money that was released to them to do this.
Meanwhile Republicans try and make it sound like Obama pulled billions out of our own economy, and gave it to people who are terrorists.
You can word this in multiple ways. The one closest to the truth?
Iran used their own money to do stuff that may be funding terrorists. The release of their money was in order to avoid them having nuclear weapons...like in North Korea.

Post #17... courts and various lawsuits are involved here. The Obama admin was not allowed to give Iran the money.

Operation Ajax? Who cares? It has nothing to do with attacks.
Obama broke our rules in sending them that money because there are multiple lawsuits involved here.
