Lying is the foundation of this administration. I had so much respect for General John Kelly for his outstanding military service in the Marines. I think he jumped on a sinking ship and trying to stay afloat with the everyday headlines and outright corruption of this cabinet. He put his good name on the line for Trump. He has tarnished his creditability. It's a shame because he put his 40 plus years of service in jeopardy for 1 year of a disservice in this current administration.

Apparently he's offered to resign, which is a little bit like that scene in "Blazing Saddles" where the black sheriff turns the gun on himself in a hostile crowd and says "One false move and the Sheriff gets it" and then turns around and says "Oh, yeah.. black guy is crazy, you better listen to him!!!", so the crowd drops their guns.

There is no credibility to this story.

John Kelly said yesterday there is no place for domestic violence and I agree with him.

What is strange, is that every few weeks the media tries to imply John Kelly is being fired or resigning.

What is strange is two days ago he defended Porter. I mean is Kelly that incompetent that he never vetted Porter? A simple vetting would show he would not pass a security review.

Have you noticed in the news the last few months there was constant talk for John Kelly to be fired to step down. It just seems like another reason for someone to say he needs to go.Rob Porter deserved to leave, not John Kelly.

He really has become a disappointment. We all had high hopes that he would be the voice of reason, a man who had the guts to confront Trump and keep him on a short leash. Instead, he has proven to be just like the rest of them, just like Ryan, Cruz, Pence, and every other boot licker in that administration.

Wasn't long ago that John Kely was the darling of Morning Joe. He was the adult in the room, tasked to take the twitter away from Trump.
