White House officials are accusing White House Chief of Staff John Kelly of asking them to lie about when he knew about Rob Porter's abuse allegations.

Two senior White House officials tell the Washington Post that Kelly told members present at a staff meeting Friday to tell reporters that “he took action to remove Porter within 40 minutes of learning that abuse allegations from two ex-wives were credible."

Quote:
“That version of events contradicts both the public record and accounts from numerous other White House officials in recent days as the Porter drama unfolded,” The Post notes. “Kelly — who first learned of the domestic violence allegations against Porter months ago — issued a glowing statement of support for Porter’s personal character after the allegations first surfaced publicly Tuesday and privately urged him to remain on the job until the next day when his resignation was announced.”

Turns out Kelly is the perfect fit for this Administration, where lying is the norm.

Looks like the marching orders have came down to attack Kelly. Not a surprise.

Folks...this guy was supposed to be vetted. Trumps folks did that....theres no way this was missed by anyone....unless Trumps "best" people are incompetent.

Makes sense the media wants Kelly gone since he has revealed himself to be an ideological conservative

Instead of a calming force and the grown-up in the room, Kelly has turned out to be an enabler, a weak Chief of Staff. And now a LIAR.

Hicks is in the dog house over the same issue. She is also in a relationship with Porter. The woman sure knows how to pick the losers.

Try reading for comprehension next time. Kelly was asking his staff to lie to reporters to protect him.

So yeah, I guess that does make Kelly an ideological conservative...

Exactly. Lying is part of the conservative ideology these days if it involves protecting the Orange King and his idiot agenda.

As for Trump vetting this guy and that failing, big shock. Trump and all his peons are incompetent toads.
