And prostitution is no crime, its just two un-coerced parties voluntarily agreeing to terms.

the state needs to stay out of the morals biz
Glad the hypocrite resigned. Yet another feather in the cap for the party of ‘family values’.

Yes I agree, and that's why I've always thought that it is pointless to try to make political hay over it. Every time a Democrat gets caught with a hooker, a CD conservative is sure to post about it, and when a GOP pol is caught, a CD liberal is sure to post. What's the point of that?

I don'''t think it was the FBI--

I think it was someone (maybe. Kavanaugh since he worked for Starr'''s investigation) with Ken Starr's investigation when they trapped her in that room for such a long time
If anyone thinks Clinton used his "power" to coerce her into sex then you have to recognize that Ken Starr and his cohorts did exactly the same thing--
They used THEIR power to intimidate and take advantage of her

And I heard her recent interview and while now she is trying to claim the moral high ground--
Listen to what she said about she did then--she is not painting herself in a better light--
I don't know if she thinks she is or not---but my take was not that sympathetic...

She was star struck--she dressed to get his attention--she stood in the front row to get his attention--
She worked late so she was the "only one" in the office the night he first approached her

She was no shrinking violet---
She was a young, attractive woman who was feeling her power and felt Clinton's personal charisma
She was as much into it as he was...

She made a bad decision==he certainly did, too-- but she was not a victim--

The guy's a scumbag. That said, why is this relevant? The man resigned from public office in February, as he should have. He will now return to live out the rest of his life under the shadow of public humiliation and disgrace of what he did.
