I think that was only chanted after the 8-0 shutout. Either way, they are almost robotic in character, quite an unusual spectacle for any event, let alone the olympics.
The reason it seems odd is that if they don't do as they're told, their families will pay the price back home. Things make a lot more sense if you look at North Korean citizens as hostages, slaves, or people with no value outside of serving the "divine" Kim family. They play along and do as they're told or else...
This sister that they're shining in a positive light is the head of their propaganda program, and part of a regime that has turned the country into a giant prison...with concentration camps and all. She's evil.

An unexpected spectacle- thus the curiosity of attendees.
Did you see the Trump and Rocket Man impersonators? Think they were Australians.
It's amazing how CNN is going ga ga over Kim's sister.
"Steals the show"?
Cone on ....even liberals have to admit this is going too far..
Agree, once again they caved under the right-wing pressure and were too scared to print the truth. The truth that what really "stole the show" was Pence's petulence. His failure, as an elected official to be the bigger person, to reach out to her hand just shake her hand. Showing that we are above their BS. That we are not affected by their propaganda move to send her to the games, and that we are stronger than they will ever be.
Instead, he acted like a bullied 4th grader and sat in the corner and cowered.
Yep, I have to admit, they went too far in their typical political correctness, being afraid to hurt Pence's feelings. It was almost as if they were giving him a participation trophy.
Edit: Funny story, but (I think it was on NPR) they were saying she flew home on Airforce Un. Now THAT is funny.....

Shining a temporary spotlight on the temporary Olympian spectacle that is “ sister” seems neutral to me.
Refusing to report her presence and very real crowd curiosity seems a tad biased. Sounds like something that would happen in a country with state control of all media

I did, they were funny! When being escorted out, the Un impersonator said, "I hope my sister isn't getting treated like this!" lol
