Please look up how processed CANNED foods are. I hope milk includes, almond, soy and other lactose free substitutes.

I’m under the impression they met canned vegetables as well since the “and” was placed after meat. Plus shipped meat, I’m sure it’s not organic

Overall this won’t work, if you gonna help people actually help them. They could just go to a food pantry for all that other crap

I belong to a moms group and the average amount people are getting seems to be between $60-90 a month. Regardless, what happens to them?

My greatest concerns would be theft, and winter.

Many live in big apartment buildings or rough neighborhoods and leaving a box at the door would be an invitation for someone to take it.

In the winter, only items that could be frozen would be safe to deliver in some areas.

And in the summer in the southern states almost nothing would be safe to deliver

Talking about her focus on childhood nutrition and activity.

Have you forgotten how school lunches were revamped to eliminate empty calories?

Free food is free food. Damn selfish little babies.
I am sick of going grocery shopping and some person gets a bunch of crap, with expensive cell phones, finger nails done, 5 kids screaming, hair braides etc.
If the feds are feeding you supplemental food, be thankful.
And our poor are not poor compared to the rest of the world.

Once again our President Trump is in it for America!
Most food consumed in the US is sourced in the US. The primary exception is fruit/ vegetables, especially out of season. The food boxes will not contain fresh, so it's not an issue.

Canned fruit/ vegetables are not necessarily sourced in the US.

The cheesy emphasis on 100% American - grown is just a nod to the base.

shelley never had any say over what food was available through welfare assistance programs outside school, so your injecting her into the conversation is nonsensical.
