Hardly the same AT ALL. We were fighting a country who attacked us, and after a battle, where the Japanese lost, the soldiers and civilians committed suicide rather than be taken prisoner. How is that even remotely the same? And nowhere in that article did it say the we were raping and killing children. In fact, many American soldiers tried to talk them out of jumping.
